Since 1994 the Big Green Gathering has grown to be the biggest and
brightest environmental event in the British calendar. It is a
festival like no other, bringing together activists from all parts of the
Green Movement. Its collection of wind, solar and pedal-powered stages
feature some of the most outstanding musicians and performers in Britain
today. They are not there for big fees or glory - they are there, like
everyone else, because they believe in the event and are part of the
movement.
In
that spirit the artists featured on the CD have donated their work to this
compilation of the pick of the 1998 Big Green Gathering. |
