Now Age Radio explore and combine ancient instruments and modern technology. They appear regularly at festivals in the UK and Japan, using wind, solar and bicycle power wherever possible, to promote sustainable energy.

They began in 1987 as
New Age Radio - a duo comprising multi-instrumentalist/producer Dave Goodman and keyboardist Sandra Dunn. They released a psychedelic ambient album called "Seven Seasons". One of the tracks, 'Eastern Dreaming' featured on a seminal compilation entitled "Shamanarchy in the UK", along with bands such as Astralasia, Spiral Tribe and Psychic TV.  New Age Radio evolved like through various line-ups, playing on the alternative circuit at clubs such as The Seed, Megatripolis, Whirlygig, Parallel Youniversity and The Warp, as well as appearing regularly at Glastonbury Festival. They also toured Japan and played in Shinto temples, at festivals on Mt Fuji and Mt Hakusan, in jazz clubs, concert halls and on the beach!

At the start of the new millennium the band metamorphosised into NOW Age Radio and features Dave Goodman, Sam Hermitage, Jean Vidler and Kathy Manuell.  They played in the Green Futures Field at Glastonbury Festival again in 2004.

REVIEW
"This album represents a number of firsts. Being the debut CD of the third millennium it was out on New Year's Day, as well as being a limited edition that carries a Rainbow Land share offer. It's the first set by producer Goodman, of Afrika Bambaata fame, that happens to be entirely copyright-free. It's also very, very good with surreal vocals adding to rich melodic mixes of bleeping and soaring analogue synths, Mongolian cellos and other audio exotica. Dub, ambient and third-world rhythms add the finishing touches to a dazzling piece of tribadelica.   9/10  Verdict: Goodman's getting gooder"  THE MIX
